SAP is a legal entity and is a voluntary, self-governed and permanent association of members. The main objective of the Association is to develop and promote initiatives, attitudes and activities supporting the development of archival science and related disciplines. SAP also aims to spread the knowledge on archives and the legislation concerning records management, thus contributing to improving the practices of collecting and preserving the national archival resources.
